Can you do the same with shrubs that you do with trees in bare root planting. Also when you put a tropical plant in a new pot can you do the same. Thanks May

Yes. You can do the same with shrubs, trees, herbs, flowers... Remember this: It is virtually impossible to plant something too high. It is very easy (and usually detrimental, eventually) to plant something too low. Good bed prep is key!
