I was planting my garden beds on Monday and kept running into decapitated Cicadas and Japanese Beetles.

There are many varieties of wasps around our property.
Just wondering if this is the work of the same Wasp variety?

Howard's 'Texas Bug Book' does not mention other bugs they might kill; only cicadas.

Many wasps are parasitic. They lay their eggs inside caterpillars or other insects. Some tiny ones do the same in aphids.
