I have a mole problem at our house. I dont mean 1 or 2 moles, nor do I mean 8 or 10 moles. I mean over a million give or take a few. I can not seem to get rid of them. I give up on using traps, tried those vibrating things you stick in the ground. I've tried running them out of the ground with a water hose and then shooting them. I would try buying a bomb and blowing up my yard but concerned that the vibration may break my big screen tv. If anyone has any proven ways to get rid of those guys I would love to hear what you have to say. By the way we live on 25 acres but just concerned about around the house. Roughly 1 1/2 acres.

Thanks,

Rob.

I had good luck with used coffee grounds last year, just putting it on top of every mole trail I saw. You can get them for free at any coffee shop.

Also, moles are attracted to grubs and can be a symptom of grub infestations under the grass in the soil. Have you checked for grubs in your lawn?

I've heard that you can put an empty glass jar (like an old coke bottle) upright in the hole so that when the wind blows over the top of it, it makes a sound that annoys the moles. May be "country wisdom", but it wouldn't hurt to try!
