I planted my Hummingbird Bush in a pot last summer. I has come back with a vengence. Question~ Does Hummingbird Bush do better in a container or in the ground? I still have it in an 18 in diameter pot. It has gotten bushy and looks real good. I just want to know what will be best for this plant.
Thank you,
Wendie in Marion Tx

Is it a dicleptera or a flame acanthus? Hummingbird bush is a common name stuck to many similar plants. Does it have soft, downy leaves...

They do fine in pots or in the ground.
