:?: I'm new to all of this as I saw the dirt doctor on Doug Kauffman's show. Where can I purchase liquid seaweed for my Garrett's juice. Also, I was wondering where I can get some orange oil. We don't have any organic gardening stores here.

Thanks much!

It would be helpful for those wishing to provide sources if we knew where you are located. Or, are you interested in online/mail order?

I'm in St. George, Utah...we have the usual Hardware stores, Home Depot and Star Nursery. I've called the nurserys and one hardware store and they are lost as to what I'm saying-lol

I checked briefly on-line and didn't see much on the liquid sea weed except there was one site for granules.

Thanks much for your help :P

For liquid seaweed and fish emulsion, try http://www.maxicrop.com, though Home Depot might just carry the Maxicrop products.

Might also check the Greensense site.

We have a business directory on the main website:
http://www.dirtdoctor.com/businesstest.php

Or you can click "Organic Sources" on the main menu. You can search for businesses by your city or by business name.

I don't think we have anyone listed in Utah, but I just thought this might be helpful for anyone looking.

If you have to mail order, it might be cheaper and better to get dry seaweed concentrate and mix it as you need it. The Greensense Kelp Powder at http://www.beorganic.com/greensense.html is one example. Their citrus oil product seems like a good deal, but I think one should use a surfactant, like their coconut oil, with it. Be sure to have anyone that is shipping a biological product ship it via a carrier that doesn't blast it with gamma radiation. I believe that UPS and FedEx are okay, but thiings can change.

Just a thought. A surfactant need only be a "minor" ingredient, so cost should be secondary. I use Amway LOC, Liquid Organic Cleaner, which has a coconut oil base. I use one 1 drop in a 2 gal sprayer. So the cost is minimal. Try it. Amway is usually locally available anywhere.

I live in Utah as well but in the Central Area - Utah County and I can't find anyone who carries Blackstrap Molasses nor Liquid Seaweed.

However, I finally found out that Sears carries the Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed. Provo Store doesn't carry it but they think it might be up at the SLC Grand Sears. You can also purchase it online and if you purchase $99 or more, you get your shipping free if delivered to a Sears Store near you.

Organic Orange Oil - I can only find it at Amazon.com

I cannot find any horticultural cornmeal around here. Though I find Yellow Cornmeal but it almost appears to be in a "flour" type form rather than just cornmeal. But I am still looking.

Hope this helps!
