I am interested in finding a source for large quantities of compost, my garden is about 3/4 of an acre and I cant produce enough of my own to cover my needs. The soil in my area is marginal and heavy in clay and I know that large amounts of compost would only be beneficial.

I have been using pallets, "55-50 pound bags per pallet" of Black Kow composted cow manure and it is "supposed to be" organic. I have had good results with it but purchasing enough for my entire garden would be extremely cost prohibitive, costs about $280.00 for each pallet.

Anyone know where I can buy compost in large quantities?

Where are you? There are lots of garden centers that have suppliers of bulk compost. There's a place in Southwest Fort Worth, just north of I-20 on Hemphill Street called Thelin Recycling. The web site doesn't list it, but they have a lot of mulch, soil amendments, and I think compost. http://www.thelinrecycling.com/index.html
