Within the last two weeks, some white mold or fungus (or other) showed up at the base on 3 mature oaks in my back yard. I have linked 3 photos (for some reason I can't upload directly on this site).

Look at the box below the message form and you'll see "Filename" beside a single line and the button "browse." Click on browse and that will let you navigate explorer style to the place where you parked the image/s you want to share.

Click the image and you'll see the name in the filename form. Then click "add the file" button.

Once the file is there, you can choose to put it "inline" and though sometimes the code pops up anywhere in the original post, you can now cut and past that line to the bottom of your message (or where it is most suitable).

You can add several photos that way. There is also room for a "file comment" that will show up in small text next to the photo that is often helpful for annotating what it is you're trying to show.

Thank you. I see the 'filename' line and beside it has "choose file" but the choose file is not allowing me to browse. It is like that it is disabled. Is there a setting maybe that I have wrong.

If you can't get the upload to work, then save the file to Flickr or Photobucket or Picasa or another file-sharing site and link to it from there. Photobucket has the formatted links when you mouse over and you can choose the right code and paste it into your message.

That looks like a straight powder - like something was dumped or spread. Odd.

Flickr has a "share" button on the top of the photo, and a "grab the link" feature. Select the BBCode then copy and paste the whole long string onto the DirtDoctor page to have it show on the page.

I think some kids must have done this as a joke. I washed off with a hose and it came right off, like it was flour. My apologies for taking up space, I was just concerned. Thanks for all the other help.

No problem. Now you're familiar with the site poke around, read in the library, and do some serious organic gardening!

Any idea what it was? I hope it was just flour, and harmless.
