I use a lot of loose--mostly green--tea. The brewed leaves go into my compost at the moment. My question is, can the used tea leaves be placed directly on the soil of my house plants as a dressing/compost? Or, will the tannins in the uncomposted tea burn the plants?

Thanks

I wouldn't use anything that isn't completely composted on house plants. Even tea could probably attract pests, could result in mold, etc.
