I have added some photos as promised; any help in identifying this shrub would be greatly appreciated. The photos were taken April 15th, and it hasnt flowered as of yet this year. The flowers, when blooming are pink/lavender colored on 10 - 12 " stems at the end of the branches, similar to butterfly bushes.

Those are tiny photos. The seed clusters look like those on my vitex, aka purple chaste. Typically they are blue, but I've seen them white, and I have a lavendar one in my yard that I found growing under the original tree (I have three planted in the yard).

Here's an image of a white one:

These aren't my photos, I've linked from other sites.

Yes, i had to shrink the HD pics to fit under 256k or the upload failed. Clearly I am doing something wrong in that regard as your photos are so much more acceptable. You have came through with flying colors my friend. The photo you provided looks just like the plant to me. Thanks a million for the lesson!

Do you see the button that says "IMG" at the top of the message form?

Click on that and you have two bits of code: {IMG}{/IMG} (I used the curly brackets because the regular brackets would disappear in this message). Put your photo someplace where you share photos - Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, and then copy the html code and paste it in between the two IMG code blocks. I check to see how large the image is so it doesn't turn up way too huge. Or, you can use Picasa to edit your photos if you don't have a image editor (even Microsoft's photo viewer has some of those capabilities) so that it is 75dpi and about 800 to 1000 pixels wide and it should come in under the Kbyte size required. Browse to the location on your computer and upload the reduced size image (I keep my original at the original size and rename the small one.)
