I was wondering if anyone knew where I could a Bur Oak that was available in ball in burlap. I'm tired of looking at root bound container trees. I would perfer to buy a tree that isn't if possible.

Where are you located? Does the tree have to be a certain size? I know a nursery in Dallas that has smaller, container grown Burr Oaks in about a 10 -15 gallon size.

Lots of nurseries should have them.

btw I have found many nurserys that have them only to find that they have been on their location for quite sometime. I have had such bad luck with finding trees that havn't had massive girdled roots. I'm a little worried about bare rooting. I've had success at doing the semi bare root. At the same time I have bought some trees that need a full bare root because the roots have been so wound up.
