Any suggestions on how to keep birds away from succulents on an outside porch? We've tried the fake owls, but the birds really like the succulents and are killing them!

Maybe some kind of floating row cover or netting that will repel them? Sometimes all it takes is a few days to break a habit.

Just experienced something similar (in terms of pesty c*** everywhere blackbirds) and tried the owl and an air horn but those didn't work. Even tried those small white caps that pop when they make contact with the ground but the noise wasn't loud enough. So, went to Walmart and found the old reliable very orange cap gun with the circle (not paper) rounds. Fired one shot towards the tree and "voila", they flew away! They might come back but I bought extra ammo!
