No matter how healthy a tree there are bound to be spots and blemishes from insects living in the tree and the area. Are there more clues to the identity? Are there any bugs on the stems and small branches of the tree? It isn't something I would worry about, but I would keep any eye on it just out of curiosity. Soon these leaves will fall and it will start over again next spring. If it turned out to be some pest just settling in, then an application of dormant oil during the winter might do the trick, but that probably is unnecessary.
