I've chosen to grow these flowers this season, so I have some questions about them.
On the advise of an assistant at our local nursery, I've been looking at reviews of osmocote and it's usually highly rated. Has anybody tried it (unfortunately, Search button left me w/o answer)? From what I found, NPK formulation is 19-6-12. I have always understood that flowering plants required a fertilizer with a higher phosphorous content, and it's a slow release one, but I was wondering - maybe I should go with more phosphorous option, 10-10-10 perhaps?
