My mother has a property that is one acre in size. She wants to prune her trees now. Is this a good time? She has many Live Oaks and other native trees. She is of the mindset that she cannot prune before June 1st because of Oak Wilt. Any help? Thanks

This isn't a good time of year to prune. It's probably the worst time of year. If you can put it off till after the first frost or after, you'd be less likely to cause damage or introduce disease.
