I HAVE HAD AN ONGOING BATTLE WITH ALGAE (GREEN OF SEVERAL SHADES SINCE 1999) AND NOW IT HSA GONE TO RED FOR LAST 2 YEARS. TRIED CORNMEAL FOR 3-YRS TO NO REAL EFFECT. TRIED CORN PELLETS EVERY 14 DAYS TO NO EFFECT. HAVE BEEN USING SWIMMING POOL STRAINER ON A POLE THIS SUMMER THAT HAS RESULTED IN ABOUT 8-YARDS OF ALGAE REMOVED. WHAT WILL KNOCK OUT THIS PROBLEM?? LIKE TO SPEND MORE TIME FISHING THAN SCOOPING OUT ALGAE. DO HAVE AN ARRERATOR RUNNING YEAR ROUND FOR 2-YEARS THAT KEEPS AN OPEN AREA ABOUT 20 TO 30 FEET OF CLEAR WATER. ALGAE IS RED ON TOP AND STRINGY ON BOTTOM WITH SOME HAVING BATCHES OF MUD OR SILT ON BOTTOM OF ALGAE CLUSTER. LARRY WILSON 972 524 0567
