Howard was talking on the radio (just now) about how effective yellow sticky traps have been on some of the pests on squash (I caught part of it - listen to the streaming podcast once it's ready, half-way through the third hour for June 4, 2017). I have used spinosad, and (believe it or not) I have a small hand-held vacuum to use on occasion to grab those guys when I see them. I don't have squash in this year and I got the vacuum during the year last year so haven't had a lot of chance to practice, but this is something Howard has also discussed. I think his vacuum has a battery, mine has a long cord.
