 Post subject: transplanting oaks

I am needing to transplant oaks trees from 1 gallon to 3 gallon containers. What kind of mix is the best? Primarily for drainage. I live in Devine, Texas.

Honestly, it looks like for long term, the best thing is to use soil from the ground in the area where you intend to plant them. That way they are used to it and there are no adaptation issues once they get in the ground.
