Hello Everyone,

I am excited that the Lilium bulbs I planted last fall have put shoots up and are growing well. I planted 6 each of the Pink Perfections and the Casablanca Whites in the East and South facing gardens. My concern is whether I should use stakes to support them. I know that staking is bad for most plants, case in point...some of my daffodils came up very close to a large parsley plant. I pick the parsley leaves and cut it down. Subsequently, all the daffodil leaves that were next to this plant flopped over soon after it was removed. Do any of you out there stake your lilies as standard procedure or only if required?

Thanks
