Hi,

There is a free composter class offered free for Flower Mound residents next week ( Oct 5,6, & 7th) and for non-resident it is $25. I think they give you a free composter bin too. For more information and registration, check out their website.

Did anyone go to this ?
How was it ??

I wanted to, but of all days, I had to work this particular Saturday.

I did call and get more info. In addition to the 3 classes, you have to put in some additional volunteer hours to get your certificate.
Not sure what you would do with it ?, but the class info and topics sure looked interesting and well worth the time.
They said another class will be held in the Spring.

Hi,

It is worth my 25.00 dollars I paid. I got a composting bin, a temperature monitor, books, worms to make my own worm cast, an aerator, a tee-shirt, and drinks and food. They give this class twice a year. It is alot of info, but I enjoyed it.

OH, just thought of something. The guy Larry who gave this class is going to do an organic gardening class in a couple of month in garland, I don't have the info. I guess if you call Ernie Goucher she may know more info. Her # is 972-874-6333. Let me know what you guys find out.
