I just looked out my window to see the Tru Green guy coming up to my door. I have been organic for 25 years at this house and I was concerned about what he had put out. I asked him what he had put out and he said sulfur. I told him he was at the wrong house. However, what will the sulfur do to my organic program? |

If they have to mistakenly spread something, sulfur is not bad - as long as it wasn't too heavy a distribution. It'll keep the chiggers out of your yard. |

Well, that makes me feel better. The last time they did this about 20 years ago, it was weed and feed that they put down or insecticide, I can't remember. But it was bad. I guess I can relax a bit with this one. Thank you for your quick response. |

The worst thing they can put down is fungicide or insecticide. Second worst is herbicide. Third worst is their chemical fertilizer. However, of the three listed here, I'd much rather they use fertilizer than the 'icides. The fertilizer will likely benefit the plants without doing too much damage to the soil microbes. |
