I live in the DFW area and would like to replace my bermudagrass with buffalograss. I am willing to do either seed or sod, but how do I get rid of the bermuda? |

I think you might want to read this particular link. http://www.dirtdoctor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2849 I have Buffalo Grass everywhere and I hate it. I would rather have the Bermuda. |

Thanks for the tips and link. I'm trying out buffalograss in the back yard while reducing the turfgrass area (ie none in the shade). I'm going for a neat natural rather than a lush look, so we'll see. |

Buffalo and bermuda together should give you sort of a natural look. Just let both grow wild. |

never done it myself, but a renting a sod cutter may do the trick |
