Hello Fellow Organites.... I would like some help identifiying this weed. Now I have it under full control in my lawn this year, due to the organic program, I might add. Mowing ad manually pulling weeds after a good watering works well once you get things in order. But my neighbor has thousands of these in his yard and next year is going to be a bad one for anyone living near him! I pulled up 8 that were too close to my property and noticed all of them had mealy bugs on the tap root. Pictures attached. Thanks you much Upon posting, looks like the pics didnt go through. The weed is low growing, has small daisy like flowers that are white with a yellow center that stick out a few inches above the turf. These weeds have been around all summer but are now just starting to flower. The weed stems appears rather curly and entrangles itself in the Bermuda lawn. It has a 3 - 6 inch tap root. |

Are the stem really woody? So much so that it can hurt to walk on them? |
