I’ve heard that cornmeal is good at controlling algae, but what about weed control? I’ve found several commercial herbicide products, but wanted to try an organic method first. |

Grass carp, an imported species, will handle the weeds for you. Some states require that you get sterilized versions of the fish. I hear they are great eating fish and do not reproduce quickly. The sterilization is possibly an overkill, so to speak, precaution. |
