I looks and acts sort of like bind weed but the leaf shape is different and there are these egg /grape shaped pods. It is farily invasize - it had captured a rose bush much like a fly in a spder web

Karen-
I think it's grapevine-maybe wild or mustang grapes? Sacchrum/dragonfly/kathe/Sandih will know.

It looks to me like some type of wil grape also, but I don't know much about varieties, and many of them are very unproductive. We have a similar plant growing all over the place along the creek, but I've only ever seen one plant that produced grapes. I remove them from any area that I don't want to be taken over.

This doesn't look like Vitus spp. (grape) to me, but darn if I know what it is!

First, it looks to be herbaceous (although we may be just seeing the succulent new growth). Also, the size and color of the fruit (large, apparently white when mature?) as well as their arrangement (borne singly, not in "bunches") doesn't fit with any wild grape I've ever seen.

The leaf shape is very close, but in the picture they look kinda soft, thick and pubescent (fuzzy) - unlike grapes.

This one's got me puzzled. Any description available of the flowers?

I'll go ahead and post your picture here, hope no one minds:

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty sure I've finally got this one figured out. It's creeping cucumber, Melothria pendula. I ran into it while IDing another plant, and it's a dead ringer.
