I'm looking for a spot of color to go in a couple smaller areas and don't want annuals. Does anyone have experience with "drift roses" in DFW? Can they be successful, and can they be found in colors other than red or pink? :?

I love drifts, and they do well here...especially if you water them with a soaker hose. They are so low to the ground that sprinkler systems can cause a lot of fungal spots on the leaves. Several nurseries in Dallas have them in 4 or 5 different colors. They grow about 18" tall by 2' wide.
