Good day People, I have just received 5 variations of Agastache in the form of seeds. I'm sure most of you that plant wildflowers do so in the fall but in which month do we do it here in North Texas? Surprisingly, most of the reading about this online recommends planting the seed in the spring, just the opposite of what I have learned from Howard. Any info you may have from your experiences with this beautiful plant would me greatly appreciated. APACHE SUNSET - Agastache rupestris ASTELLO INDIGO - Agastache x hybrida BOLERO - Agastache Cana-Hybr. GLOBETROTTER - Agastache Pallida-Hybr ROSE MINT - Agastache pallidiflora ssp. neomexicana |

I believe the Native American Seed company suggests late summer, allowing about 6 weeks before the first frost to get them big enough to handle the winter temps. I wouldn't plant them now. |
