Does anyone here happen to know if Abamectin granules go bad or lose effectiveness over time? Last year I purchased an 8 ounce bottle of granules to get rid of some ants in the kitchen. The stuff worked great and it was kind of fun watching the little guys haul the granules off behind the toaster. After a few applications, there weren’t any more sightings, so the bottle of Abamectin went down to the basement shop storage shelf. A few weeks ago some new ants showed up in the kitchen again and out came the Abamectin. However, this year the little guys seem consume it like there’s no tomorrow and their numbers do not seem to be diminishing. I cannot find any expiration date on the bottle nor can I find any info on this on the Internet. Where it has been stored in the basement is relatively cool in the summer and during the winter time the temperature doesn’t get below 50. Mucho thanks in advance for any assistance. |
