I have these tiny bluish or purple egg looking clusters on some of my grass any ideas?

This is may be a mycorrhizal fungi (Pisolithus tinctorius) also called dead man's foot, pea rock fungus and dye ball. This is a puffball type fungus that looks kind of like rotten fruit. Artists can actually use the fungus to make brown dyes. This fungus has a beneficial symbiotic relationship with certain species of trees. Usually Oaks. The cells intertwine with the roots of the tree it supplies nutrients to, while also receiving nutrients in return. So, if that is what they are, it;s a good thing!
