Where do you get guenies? They sound like the answer to my grasshopper problems.
one other question.. how do you keep them in the yard?

MOST OF THE TIME YOU CAN FIND THEM AT A FLEA MARKET IN BOWIE TX CALLED SECOND MONDAY (YOU BETTER GO ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY AS MOST OF IT IS GONE BY MONDAY) ALSO A GREAT ARTICLE ON THEM WAS IN THE MAGAZINE MOTHER EARTH NEWS A MONTH OR TWO AGO . HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LUCK |

From shadyshores in the Gardener Exchange forum: I tried guineas last year. What an experience. They work great. Now momma has hatched her "chicklets". They should be ready in a few weeks. We started with seven guineas. Now we have many young guineas & have many eggs still to hatch.If interested, reply to lynjim@netzero.net. They are great grasshopper catchers & interesting critters. |
