Why am I getting patches of yellowing and brown spots in my front yard. Watering doesn't help??? and grass dying like it looks in winter time. ?? |

Aha! Unexplained Grass Death! UGD!! This is almost always a fungus. Fortunately when you are using organic materials, you don't have to waste a lot of time trying to figure out exactly what fungus it is because the solution is always the same and always works. Use corn meal at 20 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Get it cheap at a feed store. 50 pounds should cost you $5. |
