PLEASE HELP!!

This butterfly farmer grows milkweed to feed to her Monarch larvae. She has made up some home made Hasta Grow and used it as a foliar feed on her plants. She has yellowing splotches on the leaves now. Can anyone help her please?? She has lots of hungry larvae to feed!
Thanks,
Linda Rogers

We made some of the homemade hasta grow and sprayed it on milkweed. Now the milkweed has yellowing, splotchy and purple areas on the leaves. Have you got any input on this?

Sounds like a fungus coincidental with the HastaGro spraying. You might try corn meal under the plant and as a spray. Apply under the plant at a rate of 2 pounds per 100 square feet. As a spray, put a half cup in a gallon of water overnight and spray the foliage the next day. Try on one leaf first and see if it affects the plant. Sometimes you get funny results on plants that are considered to be weeds by most people.
