Post subject:  green bean question in Texas

Hi,

I am brand new to this forum. I have a question. I have a raised organic garden in Dallas, in which I have planted 2 types of green beans (amongst other veggies). The bush ones are now starting to produce (poles are not yet flowering). When I go to pick the beans, small white moths (?) fly out. What are these, and are they a problem?

Thanks,

Carrie

Are you seeing damage on the plants? Are they simply on the plants or are they in the pods?

If you can post some photos of the beans and the moths, that would be great. This forum allows uploading of photos - if you take a digital photo and resize it to 72dpi and about 1000px across it should fit.
