Yesterday, north of Dallas, I saw a small kettle of hawks. No doubt headed north. 6 Black Vultures, a Red-tailed Hawk and several more unknown raptors that were soaring so high I could barely see them with my 10x binoculars.

The Cedar Waxwings have started making their annual visit to my neighborhood. Took this photo yesterday, in a cedar tree behind my home. The yellow tip of the tail is just visible on the top bird.
