Wow, I get to be first for this forum... I posted this last week but since we now have a forum specifically for birds I'll post it again. The Great Backyard Bird Count is this weekend Feb 18 - 21. It's fun if you enjoy attracting birds to your yard. Their website has tips, printouts, etc. and you can enter your count online and see the results on a nationwide map. And you get to help out with a good cause. No experience necessary. There's some info available at www.birdsource.com |

Wow! KBrew posted before I even got started with moderating the forum, and with a great topic. Dr. David Bonter of Cornell Lab was a guest on my Internet Radio show Friday night, Feb. 18, discussing the the Great Backyard Bird Count and the on-going Project Feeder Watch Program. We'll try to have the interview in the archives of the www.BirdzillaRadio.com Web site by the end of the weekend. |
