Organic Education

You mentioned on the Green Living show last Saturday that there was
"some university" in Florida that had an organic program. Being a graduate of
the University of Florida (that\'s the Gators), I couldn't let that one go.

UF has a minor in Organic and Sustainable Crop Production through their
Horticultural Sciences Department

They also have a page on their outreach site:

All kidding aside, I wish they had more on organic education growing as well. Keep up the good work.

Okay, I have this project for my Physical Schooling class and therefore I selected to do my project on the study of "Organic Food". I have gotten most of the information I needed, now I need to know a few reasons why Organic Food is so popular. I have thought it could be because of they way it is healthy for you and probably because of the way it doesn't pose as a threat for the environment. Are there any other reasons?
