I am looking for any interesting native plants or adapted plant (texas). Primarly looking for trees and shrubs, but other interesting things as well. I don't have much to trade, but willing to see what I have, or just pay for the seeds.

Anything exotic or uncommon or just plain different then the ordinary same old plants.

Thanks,

JohnC

What is ordinary to you? :?

If you are willing to buy, check out http://www.seedsource.com/

Other than that, all I have is red ripper cow peas. They are real good!

Hey, great site- Thanks! They have a nice selection of books regarding Texas plants as well. I am reviewing, as I am now requesting books for xmas/bdays/holidays.

Nice link, thanks.

If you want to know some great books, Howard has several listed elsewhere in the website http://www.dirtdoctor.com/org_resources.php
Malcolm Beck's"The Gardenville Method" is a great collection of short stories about his observations of nature. Very entertaining and enlightening! I just bought Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring" from Recycled Books and Records in Denton (great store!) but have not started reading it yet.
It was good to see you and meet you in person yesterday! :)
