Just purchases daylilies for the first time now find I can't locate my Dirtdoctor book. :? Am wondering if there is any pruning needed for these plants and/or special mulching care for the winter here in Ft. Worth. Help is greatly appreciated! :D

These are easy to grow in any well drained soil. Planting site should be prepared well, removing any weeds, etc. Water needs are average, fertilizing well with compost, earthworm castings, or other organic product. Plant them about 18"-24" apart. They like full sun best, but I have some that do quite well that only get sun part of the day. Remember to mulch any bare soil. :) Enjoy!

Thanks for the information. With the exception of the earthworm casting, I've done what you recommended. Glad to know there's no pruning or such involved and that I'm on the right track. Many thnx again!
