Post subject:  Cemetery Plant Propagation

I'm interested in going to some cemeteries in my area (Houston, Texas) and collecting some plant material. Can anyone tell me what I'm likely to find and how to propagate it (or at least post some links to articles on the subject). Thanks.

What are you likely to find? Who the heck knows? Depending on the age of the cemetery and whether or not families are allowed to plant items..the skies the limit on the variety of plants you could find. You may need to look into asking permission as well. This is not really the best time to take cutting of plants because most plants have not pushed off new growth. Tender, new growth is always the best for cuttings. You may find plants with seed-heads still on them but unless you know what you're looking at, you may not know whether you want to harvest them or not. If you do a simple google search on 'how to take a cutting of a plant' you'll find a lot of helpful descriptions.
