I am new to Texas (from Fla) and excited about a climate that grows bulbs like daffodils, tulips. However, I don't know when to plant them or a good place to purchase them. I'm in the South Dallas area. Thanks. |

This is the time of year to plant most of those ornamental bulbs. This is the time of year to plant just about anything perennial - trees, shrubs, turf, etc. |

The best time to plant bulbs of any kind is the opposite of the season in which they bloom. |
