Post subject:  compost and worms

I have a question. :? I am new at this compost stuff, so I am sure I will have lots of questions, but here is my first one. I have a big compost tumbler that you turn with a crank. I have been adding all kinds of stuff to it from the kitchen adding anything that I think will make compost. I was wondering, can you add worms to this tumbler. :?: My natural thinking says it might 'cook' them  , but if it is something that would be good for the composting process I want to try it. :P

I don't think the tumbler environment would be to favorable for the worms. If you want to try vermicomposting, try a worm bed. I have several links addressing this method if you need.
