| Post subject: | Sick Tree treatment |
I have a sick tree with with carpenter ants already and a particularly difficult treatment problem. It is in a flower bed with ground cover, very close to the house and has a driveway on one side and a sidewalk on another. This condition makes it almost impossible to use the recommended sick tree treatment. Any ideas? |

You may have to remove your ground cover to take off any excess soil around the tree and to treat it. Is that what you are referring to? |

Yes that is the problem and I can do that -- though I would rather not. But what about the sidewalk and driveway? I can hardly remove them. |

You do what you can. Remove what you can and treat the tree. With this heat, you may also need to give add'l water. |
