Post subject:  Do Garrett Juice and compost tea go bad?

I have jugs of store-bought Garrett Juice and compost tea, both two years old. I assume both have lost some of their beneficial qualities. Is it still worthwhile applying either to my garden as foliar sprays? Or should I dump them into my compost pile and start fresh?
Thanks for the advice.

Go ahead and use them in the garden.

Let me qualify that answer - if you mix up some of the jug contents into another container diluted with water you should use it that day. It can get moldy if it sits around. If it is simply in the bottle still in its full strength form, it keeps for a while. These products may be better fresh, but the older bottles still can be used.

I believer the professional Garrett Juice is stabilized with vinegar to keep it from spoiling. I would be surprised if it was made from aerated compost tea in the first place. Home made compost tea starts to go bad as soon as the water temp gets above 78 degrees F or as soon as the air is turned off when it is being brewed. Warm water cannot hold enough air for microbes to survive no matter how much air you bubble through it.
