I've switched to Milogranite for 2 years now mostly for lawn fertilizer. The main reason I chose this product was because its safe for children (as my 3 y.o. loves digging!) and pets (we have a cat and a dog) - as it's non-toxic and free of chemical nutrients and pesticides.
I use a broadcast spreader to apply, and this stuff works, it really greens the lawn quickly. Another big plus is that you don't have to put down as often as other products either. I buy it in 36 lbs bags - quite hard to move around, sheesh - about $50 per bag, so I'm rather interested in where did you find such a deal? Asking for a friend
Just in case, I'm not affiliated with them, I'm just really glad our local gardener recommended me to give it a try. Also to make it clear, what do you mean "both they are good and they are bad"? I'd be glad to share any additional details in case you have any questions. Also here's the review I've found useful when I was looking for a more eco-friendly fertilizer (I've used Fertilome before that, but it's not safe until it's dried).
But unfortunately, I can't give you any feedback on hou-actinite as I haven't tried it.
