| Post subject: | Dogs mess in house |
I had two Chihuahua's visit me. The owner assured me they were house trained. One to go to the door to be let out, the other to bark. But even though we very carefully watched them and let them out whenever they wanted, they still pooped and peed all over the house. Most of the time, the poop was back in a corner where we didn't even see it. And both pee and poop in the bedroom right by the bed. Obviously, this was mostly at night when we were asleep. And with the one that barked, woke us up and we let her out. But we still had this problem. Finally, can't tell which dog or both did this. Any suggestions? |

You'll have to crate train them and start over teaching both to go outside. No point in wasting time trying to figure out who is the culprit, you'll just end up with more mess in the house. Have they been checked at the vet to be sure they're both healthy and that there isn't a bladder infection or some other condition resulting in this behavior? |
