My Daughter's hamster seems to be very sick, coughing, sneezing, and not very active. Should I just let the sickness run it's course?

Never mind she died yesterday--she went downhill fast.

It turned out OK. My daughter, who will be 6 this week, doesn't fully understand death. I explained to her that the hamster died, and asked her if she would like to see it before we bury the little guy. She did, so I brought it to her. She began to pet it's fur, and then we picked a spot in the flower bed and buried it. She didn't cry, but this morning she said she wanted to go dig her up, :? so I had to explain that she couldn't do that. Kids are so funny!
