It's a pretty well-established tree, as far as I can tell. It was here when we moved in 2 years ago and I'm assuming it was planted years and years ago.

It's leaves are turning yellow and falling off. The bean pods (or hwatever they are) are blackening.

I don't recall this happening last year. Is it just a result of all the rain we had in June? I need to water the grass, but I've been holding off, wondering if there's too much moisture way down...?

I think it is just fine. Catalpas all around are starting to yellow as is the one on my land in Commerce tx. It will be ok.
