I have read on the internet for weeks, I am so confused and tired of reading.

I ordered Flea Away tablets ..sold online....broke them up and the cats would not eat them ...non toxic...
I looked at Diatomaceous Earth food grade and thought I could apply to the cats fur twice a month for flea prevention..no you can not as it drys out the fur too much..the companies selling it ..most do not tell you that info..

I do want to use the name brands of flea drops on their backs.
nor flea collars..

Will cats turn up their nose at Brewers yeast powder added to their dry food..
They eat dry food only ..does it work..do some cats have allergies to brewers yeast?

One place said to add apple cider vinegar to their drinking water daily..
does that work and will it harm their urinary tract?

I have a 17 year old cat that does not like to be brushed or held
and 2 tomcats ages 3 and 4 that I can comb..they are outside and inside cats.

I have multiple chemical sensitivity illness and my husband does too and we are not able to breathe herbs on the cats or in the house...google that one and you can see how serious MCS illness is...
What do you suggest..the cats do hunt at night..and are exposed to those fleas on the animals they catch....They hunt regardless of how full they are..

Thanks, Sheri in the southern usa

Thanks for the idea ..but we both have multiple chemical sensitivity illness
and can not be around herbs used in flea collars, or shampoos for the cats..
I can not bathe them as they would scratch me and I have had cellulitis
before and prone to get it again..from a scratch..serious infection..

I appreciate your taking the time to suggest those to me , though.
I am trying Brewers yeast for cat..bought it at wallmart..to give them
daily in the pet section..one tablet per 10 pounds of weight..cat or dog.

That is all I have come up with ..as of now to use for flea prevention for the cats..
