Hello,

I live in Flower Mound, Tx. My yard is Celebration Turf and I have plants....no veggie garden.

Yesterday, I found 3 light green worms on the grass, under an Oak Tree. They were about one inch long, totally light green. The tip of their head was a redish color.

I checked my plants and did not see worms. I looked up Army worms and green worms in the Article Library and ruled them out.

We did have rain and heavy winds one day last week. I am wondering if they came from the tree.

I am wondering if I should be concerned?
Any suggestions?
I am totally Organic...first year.
My husband uses Orange Oil around the outside of the house, monthly. And we spread Molasses once a month in the yard and flower beds. We do not have a bug problem in the house and I have learned to live with the spiders outside.

Thank you!
Char Harris,
Flower Mound, TX

There are literally thousands of insects in your backyard, If the worms are not munching on your herbs etc, I would not be concerned.
