That photo is small. Tell us more about it - where are you (Texas?) and where and how does this grow. In your lawn, in sun, shade, wet, dry? What kind of fruit or berry or seed does it have? How big does it get? If you can post a photo of it in place and make it a bit larger (perhaps post it to another site and link to it from here) that would help.

It grows in the sun and the shade, it likes shade more. It can get 12 to 18 inches tall and bushes out. The stem is like a succulent like Purslane. The leaves are slightly smaller than a quarter, oval and scalloped edge. Freshly picked they taste like spinach, after about an hour they have a sharp, bitter after taste.

The system doesn't like large files, but if you have software that allows you to edit your photos you can send one that is about 1000px wide and is compressed down below about 250K and it will load. Or send me a personal message through the system and I'll give you an email address where you can send the photo and I'll size it down and post it.

Interesting that you've tasted this weed as much as you have. Purslane (that you compare it to) is edible, and both moss rose and purslane have tiny little seed pods after they flower. It's impossible to see them once they dry and disperse. Research will show whether these are related or not, but I think your best bet is to do an all out mechanical removal (pull, don't just spray) and get them before they flower and drop more seeds.
