I am new here. What a great website. Thanks DirtDoctor.
I live near Fort Worth Texas.
Now my problem. I have a Brugmansia that I keep indoors most of the time. It began curling its leaves and they are being consumed as well as seen in the pictures. I have sprayed it with a spidermite spray. It has not helped.
Can you identify the problem and a solution?

I'd like to know where you live. The best way to keep us informed as to where you live is to fill out the form in your profile. Why do I need to know? Because the weather in Dayton is different than the weather in Brownsville and that makes a difference as to what I might suggest.

I would suggest putting the plant outside but that might not be an option. If it were outside I would spray it with milk and a little molasses. Both of these are food for the microbes that support the plant. Spray every surface of the plant. When the microbes are healthy, they will help the plant to become healthy. It is the healthy plants that resist pests. Also make sure you don't use synthetic fertilizer on the plant. Use organics. You might even sprinkle a pinch of fresh compost on top of the soil next time you water.

Mix the milk and molasses 50-50 in an adjustable hose end sprayer. Set the dial for 6 ounces per gallon and spray away. If you have some left over, continue spraying everything in the garden until it is gone. You can repeat in 2 weeks.
